Senior Championship Results
The Senior Championship was played last weekend. For the 2nd year in a row, Peter Scully was the winner in the Senior Club Championship (gross division). Peter’s 157 (76-81) total was good for a 4 stroke victory over Tom Harvey (78-83) and Steve Jepsen (80-81).

In the net division, Jack Finlayson was the winner in the 55-64 yr age group. After firing 68 on day 1, the low score on day 1, Jack never let anyone come close, holding off all challengers with a solid 67 on day 2. Jack’s 135 total gave him a 6 stroke margin of victory over Steve Jepsen (70-71=141). Three players tied for 3rd at 145. Dick Volpicelli (73-72), Tom Harvey (70-75), and defending Champion Bob Nardella (71-74).

In the 65+ yr age group Steve Potter cruised to a 5 stroke win over Peter Scully with rounds of 73-71=144. Peter held a slim 1 shot lead heading into the 2nd round, but could not keep pace with Steve on day 2. Peter shot a net 77 in the 2nd round to finish with a 149 total, good for second place. Frank Finizio scored 150 (76-74) to edge out Charlie Toczylowski (77-74=151) by a single stroke for 3rd place.

In the Super-Senior division (75+ yrs) Tiny Busa, with his score of 160 came out on top.

June 15th – Father’s Day Pro-Am
Our traditional A-B-C-D team format tournament. We do pair any father and sons who sign up into the same group. 7:45 shotgun. To sign up, call the Pro Shop or sign up on the bulletin board in the hall.

June 20th & 21st - Men’s 2-Day Member-Guest
The field is full. If you would like to be placed on a wait list, please contact the Pro Shop.

As a reminder, the golf course and dining facility are both closed to non-participants on Friday and Saturday. The Club will reopen for regular operation on Sunday, June 22nd.

Bag Tags Now Available
Please note, 2014 member bag tags have arrived. It is time to update your old bag tag. Some of you may have lost your old one, or in some cases, never received one when you joined the club. In any event, you can pick up your new personalized bag tag in the Pro Shop.

Also available for pick up in the Pro Shop are the Ouimet Scholarship bag tags for those members who have generously donated to that program through LGC.
