 Get your kids into golf
The Bellville developing a young member program is great way to get your child active and involved at the club. They are taught basic rules, etiquette and skills whilst enjoying themselves in the atmosphere of the club.
Our group has grown considerably and the program is turning into a great success. We (myself, JP Laubscher and the children) would like to thank Bellville GC, its staff, members and our club manager Werner Theart for providing the children with the opportunity to benefit from the success of the club.
We encourage all members to get your child involved with this program as they are the future the club.

It's the biggest day of the year! More information is available on the poster below.
Durbanville Children's Home Golf Day We are hosting our very popular Durbanville Children’s Home Golf Day on the 14 October at Bellville Golf Club. At this prestigious event, guests can look forward to a nice day of golf, an interesting goodie bag, networking opportunities and a prizegiving event.
We also host a short auction, with Wicus van der Merwe as the auctioneer.
Neels van Jaarsveld will be our MC for the day. Please support us by enrolling in a 4-ball at R3 000 or sponsor a hole at R2 000.
All funds raised at this event will be used to sustain our Bridging House for young adults leaving care. The House offers our children an opportunity to get job training, employment and study further.

NG Kenridge bied ‘n gholfdag aan wat DV sal plaasvind op Dinsdag, 11 Oktober by die Bellville Gholfklub.
‘n Vierbal beloop R2 200, wat ‘n smaaklike aandete insluit. Kontantkroeg beskikbaar.
Daar is putjies te borg teen R4 000 met die geleentheid om die organisasie deeglik te bemark en blootstelling te kry vanaf die besige Jip de Jagerrylaan.

Rule 25
Abnormal Ground Conditions, Embedded Ball and Wrong Putting Green. 25-3 Wrong Putting Green
a. Interference
Interference by a wrong putting green occurs when a ball is on the wrong putting green.
Interference to a player’s stance or the area of his intended swing is not, of itself, interference under this Rule.
b. Relief
If a player’s ball lies on a wrong putting green, he must not play the ball as it lies. He must take relief, without penalty, as follows:
The player must lift the ball and drop it within one club-length of and not nearer the hole than the nearest point of relief. The nearest point of relief must not be in a hazard or on a putting green. When dropping the ball within one club-length of the nearest point of relief, the ball must first strike a part of the course at a spot that avoids interference by the wrong putting green and is not in a hazard and not on a putting green. The ball may be cleaned when lifted under this Rule.
PENALTY FOR BREACH OF RULE:
Match play – Loss of hole; Stroke play – Two strokes.
