Greetings from Bellville | Thursday, March 28, 2024 |
On Wednesday, 26 October, our Ladies Bronze League triumphed above all the rest with a victory against Durbanville.
The team consists of Ingrid Walker, Marlene Niehaus, Cecilia Immelman, Elna Coetzee, Silvia Froman and Mary Ann Abbott.
A big congratulations to all for this great win ladies and for making it through to the semi-finals. | | |
| | Another congratulations to the winner of the Clovelly Open on Sunday, Gerlou Roux 71 / 67 - 138
A return to the winners circle and still fresh from his victory at the Mid-Am IPT in Rustenburg, Roux turned round a four-shot deficit to win by two shots from Milnerton’s Paul Colditz.
Colditz opened his account with 6 birdies and an eagle on the par 5 10th and carded a five-under-par 67; with his putter turning cold in the afternoon he was unable to hold onto his lead and posted a one-over-par 73 to finish in the runner-up position.
Congratulations, Gerlou! |

| | | Look at the hole and imagine a 4-foot radius around the hole. There will be a straight line through the hole from a 12 o’clock position to a 6 o’clock position that is a perfectly straight downhill putt from the 12 to 6 o’clock setting. That is the fall line. Find it and you’ll always know which way your Putt is going to break. | | | | | | What’s your success rate from 20 feet out on the course? When you miss, what percentage is down to: a poorly-fitting Putter; poor technique; a bad read? You can be a great Putter. Contact us | |
