Mixed Open
The Mixed Open that was scheduled for the 17 December has been postponed due to the new course opening. Craig & Lynn will sponsor the February open in aid of Animal Welfare.

Sundowner
The sundowner is still cooking with Mosgas, it’s great to see the support we are getting. See you on Friday again.

Whisky Draw & Lucky Draw
R4600-00 SA Rant up for grabs this Friday.

The construction of the wall of remembrance close to the squash courts are nearly completed.
Thanks to the Dorringtons and the ladies section we now have a specific spot to celebrate those that were dear and near to us.

We are introducing a cashless card system at the club from 11 December.

o A significant number of golf clubs in SA (or the Western Cape) have implemented this successfully.
o It is based on the existing HNA handicap cards, onto which members can deposit funds prior to making purchase transactions in the Bar and Halfway.
o Drinks prices will be increased by +- 10% on 11 December, but members using their cards will receive a 10% discount.
o Visitors and members who do not use the new cashless card system will be charged the new standard prices, i.e. no discount.
o Topping up of funds on cards can be made in the Bar, Kitchen and Pro Shop. No EFT’S will be accepted currently , only card / cash.
o Tips for barmen must be added to the cost of the transaction, after presentation of the till slip to the customer.
o The system requires members to have enough funds on their cards for each transaction. (Card balances cannot be overdrawn, no credit is allowed.)
o Cards may not be used for paying green fees yet.

Further info/a guideline will be made available to members , which will include a few more points out of the “Policies” section of the cashless card project plan.

1. I'm not saying let's go kill all the stupid people. I'm just saying let's remove all the warning labels and let the problem work itself out.
2. I changed my car horn to gunshot sounds. People move out of the way much faster now.

3. You can tell a lot about a woman's mood just by her hands. If they are holding a gun, she's probably very unhappy.

4. You know that tingly little feeling you get when you really like someone you've just met? That's common sense leaving your body.

5. I don't like making plans for the day. Because then the word "premeditated" gets thrown around in the courtroom.

6. I didn't make it to the gym today. That makes 1,500 days in a row.

7. I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

8. Dear paranoid people who check behind shower curtains for murderers: If you find one, what's your plan?

9. Everyone has a right to be stupid. Politicians just abuse the privilege.
