 In 2017 Callaway helped many of you make your golf season truly EPIC. The EPIC driver with jailbreak technology was the hottest driver to hit the shelves in many years! In 2018 Callaway is going Rogue and it will again be a banner year for the club company that essentially took over the #1 position in almost every category last year. The Rogue line up is going to be amazing and will help Callaway further cement itself as the #1 Club Manufacturer in golf. See below for some of my takes on the new Drivers, Fairway Woods, Hybrids, Irons, Wedges and even Golf Balls! We already have these clubs available in our fitting cart and can’t wait to get outside for you to give them a try! For further proof that Rogue is the real deal check out the leaderboards this week were you see Callaway Staff Professionals Aaron Wise and Wesley Bryan off to a hot start in California, Sergio Garcia (yes Sergio is now a Callaway guy) leading the Singapore Open this week and last week the Rogue Driver and Fairway got their first win on the European Tour! Driver – The Rogue driver contains the jailbreak technology that made the EPIC driver so amazing, but Callaway has refined it and helped create some more ball speed with it. The driver looks very similar to the EPIC driver, but does not have the movable weight. The Rogue driver comes in three different options that all look very similar with slightly different weighting: 1. Standard Rogue – For the vast majority of our players 2. Rogue Draw Driver – This driver has a little more weight placed towards the heel of the driver which will not change the look of the driver as you set up, but helps promote the release of the driver for a more draw bias flight 3. Rogue Sub Zero – This driver is going to come off with a lower launch and lower spin than the other two drivers
Fairway Woods and Hybrids – I feel that this fairway wood and hybrid combination is going to be as big as the EPIC driver was last season. This year the Fairway Wood and Hybrids both have the jailbreak technology and they are both INCREDIBLY LONG! The reaction I had to the driver last year when I first hit it is the exact same reaction I had to hitting these clubs. YOU MUST TRY ONE OF THESE CLUBS IN 2018!
Irons – The Rogue irons are a great looking and very forgiving iron that provide great distance and a good feel for all players. They have Rogue, Rogue Pro and Rogue Women irons to make sure every player has an option that fits their game.
Wedges – The look and feel of the new wedge is great, but that isn’t the best thing about it. The greatest thing is the Groove-in-Groove technology that helps you displace more grass and create more spin on shots out of the rough. The wedges have already proven themselves on Tour with several wins including one by Sergio Garcia!
Golf Balls – The last few years the Chrome Soft and Chrome Soft X have claimed to be “The Ball That Changed the Ball.” They are certainly on to something as they have clearly taken over the #2 spot in golf balls. As if that isn’t enough Callaway did some testing and below are the results with the new and improved 2018 models that will be available in our Golf Shop very soon. • Callaway conducted ball testing with 70 associates from PGA Tour Superstores from across the country against ProV1 and ProV1X on a TrackMan. Results showed that Chrome Soft & Chrome Soft X were on average of 5 MPH faster off a 7 iron! • Over 80 PGA Club Professionals also tested Chrome Soft and Chrome Soft X against ProV1 and ProV1X and again the results were conclusive: nearly everyone picked up close to +5 MPH on a 7 iron. In fact the smallest increase was +3.1 MPH!  With all the incredible information above I’m sure more of you will be wanting to buy in to the 2018 Eagle Club!
