Spring Duffers
Saturday, April 14th 9:00 am Shotgun
This is our opening Men’s event of the season. We will pair all players based on the ABCD method and then play an 18-hole Shamble. It will be a good way to ease your way back into the competitive golf division since most of us are pretty rusty from the rough winter. After golf, we will have a nice lunch and some beer that is all included in the price of the event!

I will post brackets on Tuesday, May 1 and it will be your responsibility to schedule your matches by the deadline. Matches that are not completed will be decided by a coin toss unless otherwise determined by Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Individual Match Play
Season Long - Sign up deadline on April 29

Test your skills one-on-one with other members. In the individual match play, we will split the field into three flights based on handicaps. The sign up deadline is Sunday, April 29. Matches that are not completed will be decided by a coin toss unless otherwise determined by Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Dunning Cup
Season Long - Qualifier deadline on May 1

This is our second year for the Dunning Cup, our Gross Match Play (no handicap) bracket event that will be played throughout the year. In order to participate in this event players will need to play a qualifying round from the blue tees between now and May 1st. In order to count as a qualifying round the player must tell the Golf Shop prior to the start of the round and must have another member sign the scorecard. The player with the lowest score will earn the #2 seed as our 2017 champion, Nate Wright, will have the #1 seed. The rest of the players will be seeded based on their qualifying score through the top 16 seeds. The field will then be split into pods of four players and each player will be guaranteed three matches. The player from each pod with the best record will move on to compete for the semi-finals. All matches will be played with no handicaps and will be played from the blue tees.

18-Hole Ladies Match Play
Season Long - Sign up deadline on May 6th

Test your skills one-on-one with other 18-Hole Ladies members. In the individual match play, we will split the field into two flights based on handicaps. The sign up deadline is Sunday, May 6. I will post brackets on Tuesday, May 8 and it will be your responsibility to schedule your matches by the deadline. Matches that are not completed will be decided by a coin toss unless otherwise determined by Ryan Fitzpatrick.

It was an anticlimactic March Madness this year for all of our local teams, but at least the people listed below were able to turn it into some money. The Golf Shop Credit will be put on your account this week and the Cash will be available next week.

Congratulations to all our winners - maybe next year will be more exciting!

We are only one week away (Friday, April 13th) from the first day you can sign up for our most popular, all member, event of the season, the Men’s Quota.

This year we have put together a top notch weekend for you to enjoy. For those of you unfamiliar with the Men’s Quota, it is our version of a Member/Member. The format is a two-person team quota. We take 90% of each player's handicap and subtract that from 36 to come up with a quota for the first day. After day 1 we adjust your quota for the second day based on how much you beat or didn’t beat your day 1 quota. In addition to that we will be auctioning off each team on Friday night and we will have prizes for overall, as well as both days, so you are always in the game. We will again have the Par 3 Contest on Saturday afternoon and have a few other surprises that will add to this great event! Last year we sold out this event with 128 players, so get your partner and be ready to sign up on Friday, April 13th at 7:30 am on ForeTees. I have listed the schedule for the event below.

Friday, April 13 7:30 am Sign-Ups will start and be open to the first 64 teams to sign up.

Friday, August 24 6:00 pm Stag Party – During the stag party we will auction off each team separately. We will also serve beer and food that will be included in your entry fee.

Saturday, August 25 8:30 am Shotgun for the first round of the event.
1:30 pm Lunch and beer after the first round
2:30 pm Individual Par 3 Event with $10,000 prize for HIO. We will set up 12 par 3 holes on the course and play in large groups with prizes for closest to the pin, HIOs and anything else we can dream up.

Sunday, August 26 8:30 am Shotgun for the second round of the event.
1:00 pm Lunch, beer and Awards after the second round.

TO SIGN UP FOR THE EVENT YOU CAN SIGN ON TO FORETEES ANY TIME AFTER 7:30 AM.
PLEASE SIGN UP BOTH YOU AND YOUR PARTNER.

Any questions - please contact us.

Have you ever dusted your Driver face with a powder to record your strike pattern?
You should try it. It can be quite revealing and will probably underline why the advances
in 2017 and 2018 Driver faces have been so important.

Obviously for the 15 handicap and above, given their strike pattern, the improvements in shot consistency
from the new faces, will be quite dramatic. But, lower handicap golfers have less room for error,
so even small improvements make a dramatic impact.

The Callaway Rogue Drivers utilise three technologies, including the revolutionary JailBreak
Technology to accommodate your strike pattern.

We’d like to work with any golfer interested in playing more often.
We’re keen to make sure every one of our golfers is on the fairway off the tee more often.
Interested?

Which area of your golf game, if improved, would create the biggest increase in enjoyment out on
the golf course (including a lower score), causing you to want to get out and play more golf?

If you had to make a decision which would it be?
We’re interested in which part of their game golfers think improvement would make the most impact.

With this information we can create better coaching programmes, the right clinics,
and more of the fun events that would make your time at the facility and
out on the golf course more enjoyable.
