The 2018 Tournament Schedule: The new 2018 Tournament Schedule can be picked up in the pro shop. You can also keep a look out for events in The Leisure. Couples Valentine Scramble Saturday, February 17, 2018 Time: 2:00pm Tee Times Entry: $15 per couple, plus carts Format: 2 person Scramble Includes: Prizes | | | Men’s Match Play Championship: Signups have started DEADLINE FOR SIGN UP: Saturday, March 3rd Entry Fee: Format: Flights: Tees: | | $25 includes, golf and prizes Match play competition. First two rounds matches and semifinals of consolation matches are set up between players. Finals are all played on May 13. Flights will be based on handicap. If there is 4 shots difference in handicap, shots would be applied, otherwise there would not be any shots given for the match. The format will be double elimination. If you lose once you will fall into the consolation portion of Match Play. If you lose twice you would be eliminated. As long as you keep winning you will keep moving towards the championship match for your flight. Flights will be done in groups of 8 based on handicap. We will be using white tees and gold tees based on where handicap is established. Saturday – Rd 1 completed by April 7 Saturday – Rd 2 completed by April 28 Saturday – Semifinals of consolation matches must be completed by May 11 Saturday - May 12 - Finals Final Round: – Consolation Matches: play starts at 9:30AM Tee Times. - Championship Matches: play starts approx. 10:00AM Tee Times. At the conclusion of play we will have an Awards Presentation. | Junior golf is alive and well at Crown Colony. The turn out for Junior night was awesome. If you missed that night, don’t worry. We can still get you involved. Maybe it’s your grandkids or your children you want to get into golf. Just call Cory Ryan at the pro shop or you can email him. This is the best program in town. Also if you, as an adult, want to get involved, just read below. Spring Program: this spring you will see all kinds of new things coming to the pro shop. This will include a brand new program. Once a month we will have Thursday Evening Couples Nights. These are designed to go in conjunction with our junior program that many of your kids are already involved in. I will have a clinic for the adults, wine tasting and a trunk show for men and women. So this is like a parent’s night out. We look forward to making this a great golfing year for you.
