Here's Jay with what's going on...

This Monday the club will be open and we will be having our annual Flag Day Tournament!
Make sure to check in with the golf shop to get your flag before you tee off. Entry is $5. At the beginning of the round, you will be given a flag, which you will place on the golf course where your shot – par + your handicap – lies. For example, if you have a handicap of 15, you will place your flag where your 87th shot lies.

The flag that makes it the farthest on the golf course wins the GRAND PRIZE!

To honor our fallen heroes, we will be having a sale in the golf shop. Any apparel that is red, white or blue is 25% off. Make sure to stop by and pick up all the great new merchandise that has come in.

Don’t forget to grab your Peter Millar swim trunks for the lake this summer!

Senior 4 Ball will take place on Saturday and Sunday, June 9th and 10th.
The tournament will be a one better ball of 2 with gross and net divisions. Make sure to grab your best friend, OVER 50 YEARS OLD, and sign up while spots are still available!

There will be a draw party on Friday, June 8th at 6:00pm in the men’s Lounge. We hope to see all of you there.

The Handicap Computer is now up and running in the Golf Shop. It is conveniently located against the wall by the Oakley Sunglasses and shoes.

Please stop in and post your score at the conclusion of your round.

If you’re shooting under 80, most times out (we all have bad days), then of course a
benefit of added distance with no extra effort required, matters.

But your biggest win is if we can take a 6 Iron approach and help you put it 10 feet closer more often.

Almost every golfer we custom fit for a set of Irons notes at least one dimension of measurable improvement.
Those with higher handicaps and the less skilled often see two, or even three,
dimensions of measurable improvement, IMMEDIATELY.
What could your improvement be?

Last week we provided you with an example of a skills challenge (which also offered you the opportunity to learn about what the ball would do). When you’re practicing like this, don’t forget technique.

If you missed the challenge last week,

You may be after a personal best when you’re taking on this challenge,
but before each shot, check your technique fundamentals.
There is process and result.

Remind yourself of the different practice types.

Practice isn’t everyone’s idea of fun. But we can make it fun. We can make sure you get more out of any practice. We want you to see the results. We hope we’ve helped over the last weeks.
Now let’s help you from here on. Book an assessment. We’ll find the quickest route to improvement,
and we’ll have fun practice drills to accelerate your progress.
