Hello golfers!

It’s going to be a relatively short newsletter this week due to the fact that my wife went to Cape Town and left me with two children who have reminded me what real hard work is all about. After a weekend filled with play dates, birthday parties and plenty of “dad, we are hungry, what can we eat” my energy levels have been completely depleted. I have now been on my own for 5 days and I have to admit that having sole responsibility for two young children is definitely not for the feint hearted. Sometimes I think we take for granted the role moms play in the day to day lives of our children and maybe this is the perfect opportunity to say thank you to my wife for all that she does.

On to this week and just a reminder to all of you that the guys from Titleist will be on the range and in store all day today. They will be showcasing their latest range of irons, the 918 series, alongside the current range of woods (The 917) and will also be debuting the latest range of Vokey SM7 wedges. We will be running some amazing specials that will only be available on the day (please check poster below) so be sure to come visit us to test out their wonderful range of equipment.

Andy’s review is a good one this week as he takes a look at the the Cleveland Launcher irons and tells us why he believes these clubs make the game so much easier. Be sure to check it out below.

Lastly, we have a lot of birthdays this month as Bernie, Leigh and Andy all celebrate their special days. For Bernie it’s a particularly special milestone and although I am not allowed to reveal her true age let’s just say that she will longer be able to put a 2 down as the first digit.

I will be heading to the US on Sunday to spend some time on the range with Branden and I look forward to catching up with you all when I return.

I don’t know if you all have noticed but Cleveland Golf have actually made this game easier to play, which in my honest opinion is the best news so far this year, besides the fact that the Springboks have not lost a game yet.
