Here are the latest updated lists, and you can click on the link for the rest of the standings. Rory let another lead slip on a final day when Franky Molinari totally outplayed the rest of the field to win the Euro Tour’s flagship BMW PGA Championships at Wentworth on Sunday. Rory has been guilty of this recently, but on the other hand, he’s getting himself back into contention more frequently, and he’s probably getting back to somewhere near his best. Justin Rose won on the other side of the Atlantic in the Fort Worth event on the PGA Tour, but it’s a mystery to me why he was there in the first place, and not at Wentworth. This week sees the Euro Tour in Italy, and the PGA Tour heads to one of its favourite Tour stops at Muirfield Village for Jack’s Memorial Tournament, and the usual strong field that it attracts, with new World #1 Justin Thomas teeing it up, new #3 Justin Rose also there, and a host of the best, including Tiger, Rory, DJ, JD, Ricky & Jordan. It’s a great course that always looks unbelievable on the eye, and tests these top players on every hole. That’s about all for this week. Hope you have a good one. Kappy. |
