Father’s Day is Sunday and if you have a golfer on your list, please stop by the Golf Shop. In addition to great gifts, the Club also has space available for Father’s Day Brunch on Sunday.
The One Day Men’s Member-Guest is a 9:00 Shotgun today (Friday) and the course will open after 1:00 when they complete play.
Aerification of the golf course will take place next week, but with a different twist to the normal routine. Adam is going to only aerify greens and tees, not the fairways this time. Because of that, we will be able to open the course and practice areas a day early on Thursday rather than Friday. However, the course, practice areas and golf shop will be closed Tuesday & Wednesday as planned.

Assistant Professional, Anthony Guagliardo has organized a tremendous PGA Junior Golf League here at the Club. Thanks to his work, you can see 25+ junior’s receiving instruction every Tuesday and Thursday in a team atmosphere.

The conversion of our handicap provider to the USGA’s GHIN system has been completed. Your GAF Golf app will no longer work.
Download the GHIN App for mobile posting. You will need your GHIN number that the Golf Shop can provide for you. In addition, the FSGA is going to coming in over the next several months to remeasure and rerate the golf course. Not only will they provide ratings for our existing tees, but also for the family forward tees (these will have a silver ground mount plate as their teeing ground), and three “combo courses”; 1) Gold/Blue at 6,700 yards 2) Blue/White at 6,300 yards and 3) White/Green at 5,800 yards. In response to the family and combo tees being added, new scorecards will be developed so players know what tees to play and on what holes to play them.

4 Iron loft had strengthened to become
the same loft as the previous year’s 3 Iron.
Your 5 Iron will today have the same
loft as that 3 Iron. | Without question, most golfers ought to be
replacing their 5 Iron with a Hybrid.
They should be investing in improving
their technique. And smiling as they walk
up to their ball on the green. It makes it easier
to enjoy the geese! It also means you’re
buying less golf balls.

(2v2 over 3x3 holes), with the playability benefits of a Scramble format.
There are 3 ‘flags’ to be won. If you’re playing 18, why not play 2v2 better ball scramble, over 3x6 holes? | | | And actually, why not find time to
play nine in this format (3x3 holes),
before or after your day?
Or nine on a Sunday afternoon
with the family? |  | | | | You can still have friendly competition, but it’s likely that this is a much more social format:
you come together on the tee; for the 2nd shot; and on the green. That’s more fun together. | | |  |
Try it. Try and think of different ways to play the game, to allow the less skilled the opportunity to
get much more enjoyment from the experience. Or for you to change it up and enjoy yourself more.
