The tournament will be a one better ball of 2 with gross and net divisions. Make sure to grab your best friend, over 50 years old, and sign up while spots are still available!

There will be a draw party on Friday, June 8th at 6:00pm in the men’s Lounge. We hope to see all of you there.

It's time for the game’s best players to compete on one of golf’s biggest stages, the U.S. Open.

Our U.S. Open board is almost filled up. We have about a dozen spots open on the board.

Stop in the Golf Shop to sign yourself up and see who you will be following at Shinnecock Hills.

Ladies Member Guest
The Ladies Member Guest will be held from Friday, September 14th to Saturday, September 15th.

A competitive practice round will be held on Friday afternoon, followed by the tournament round on Saturday at 9:00am. More details and registration will follow via e-mail this Sunday in the Ladies email.

Be sure to save the date of September 14 & 15. We look forward to having a full field for the Ladies Member Guest!

 Senior Member Guest
Save the date for the Senior Member Guest. The event will run from Tuesday, August 21st to Thursday, August 23rd.

The 21st will be an optional practice round followed by 36 holes of competitive golf the next two days. The first day contains a 6-6-6 format comprised of Texas Scramble, better ball and alternate shot. The second day’s format will be better ball of the twosome.

We are looking forward to a great turnout for the Inaugural Senior Member Guest.

You must be at least 50 years young to register. Invite your partner as entry registration forms will be sent out next week, so keep an eye out!

The Men’s Member-Member is right around the corner. It will be held on Saturday, June 23rd and Sunday, June 24th.

Each team will play four different formats over the entire tournament. Day 1 on the front 9 holes will be a combined net. The back 9 holes will be a team scramble. On day two of the tournament, the front 9 holes will be a modified alternate shot format. The back 9 holes will be a net better ball. The lowest scores for each 9-hole format, and the low overall score for the tournament plus all ties will compete in a shoot-out.

If you have not done so already, be sure to register for a great weekend!

Think about the Par 3’s you play. What is the distance that you just don’t have covered in your bag?
For most golfers, there will be a point between 180 yards and 200 yards where they just don’t have
the club to hit the target distance.

Some of you may even have a club to get to the green but find you’re just not able to stop the ball.
Your mis-hit is short; your perfect strike, through the back.

The higher lofted Fairway Wood is a great solution for a regular to slower swing speed golfer.
The deeper CoG, and usually lower profile, helps to get the ball higher with a steeper landing trajectory.
The ball stops quicker.

Bring your problem distance to us. Let us spend time whether improving your technique with an existing club,
or filling the gap with a better solution. Come and spend 45 minutes with us,
and let’s see how best to fill that gap.

If you’re playing golf, outside of a competition, then it’s your rules that count.

If you’ve got some less experienced golfers in your four-ball, you’ll be surprised how much more they enjoy
the round if you play a “scramble drive”. That’s where everyone tees off, but you all play your second
shot from the position of the best tee shot.

You can still have friendly competition, but it’s likely that this is a much more social format:
you come together on the tee; for the 2nd shot; and on the green. That’s more fun together.

Try it. Try and think of different ways to play the game, to allow the less skilled the opportunity to
get much more enjoyment from the experience.

And if you need help finding more fairways on your own, then
