We have our Men's Member-Member this weekend...

Watch now...

We are down to the Championship Match for the 2018 President’s Cup. The Final Match will be held tomorrow Friday, June 22nd at 12:30PM.

Kyle Brewer/Chad Nordhagen will take on Joe Freeman/David Dokell. ALL are encouraged to come out to the course and cheer on (or heckle) the gentlemen as it should be a great match!

The Men’s Member-Member will be held on this weekend, Saturday, June 23rd and Sunday, June 24th.

A Pairings Party will take place on Friday, June 22nd at 5:30PM. This will give you a chance to see who you are playing with and enter into the Calcutta that Chad Nordhagen and Kyle Brewer will be overseeing.

Each team will play four different formats over the entire tournament:
Day 1
on the front 9 holes will be a combined net. The back 9 holes will be a team scramble.

D
ay 2 of the tournament, the front 9 holes will be a modified alternate shot format. The back 9 holes will be a net better ball.

The lowest scores for each 9-hole format, and the low overall score for the tournament plus all ties will compete in a shoot-out.

The Golf Shop has received a ton of red, white, and blue apparel for men and ladies. Stop in to check out a new outfit for the holiday.

As a reminder, the golf course will be open Monday, July 2nd for normal play.

The Red, White, and Blue Scramble will be held Saturday, July 7th. This tournament will consist of 2-person teams that will play a scramble. We will have both a Gross and Net Division. All players will play 6 holes from the Red Tees, 6 holes from the White Tees, and 6 holes from the Blue Tees.

Following the 4th of July week, the golf course will be closed from Monday, July 9th until Saturday, July 14th. The golf course will be undergoing aerification. If you would like to play golf elsewhere that week, let us know and we will do our best to get you on somewhere.

The best players in the world gave us a great show last week. The results of the U.S. Open Board are below:

 1. Debbie Peterson – Brooks Koepka
2. Tommy Barringer – Tommy Fleetwood
3. Doug Mihelick – Dustin Johnson
4. David Mills – Patrick Reed
5. Mark Cassady – Tony Finau

Congratulations to our winners! You may pick up your prize in the Golf Shop.

To ensure satisfaction for all of our members and their guests on the golf course, the pace of play guideline is set at 4 hours and 10 minutes.

A main concern recently has been that rounds have been exceeding 4.5 and even 5 hours in some cases. Pace of play remains crucial for your playing partners as well as everybody else on the golf course. Especially during the hot weather we are having, nobody wants to be on the golf course for 5 hours. Play “Ready Golf” to keep the pace under 4 hours and 10 minutes.

This link provided displays some tips to help keep the round moving. Thank you for your cooperation!

A mid-Iron second, over a nasty hazard, with more trouble right of the green,
tests your technique, your equipment, your fitting, and your confidence.

A Hybrid has the forgiveness,
and deeper centre of gravity this shot needs.
But some golfers struggle mentally with the
need to strike the ball a descending blow
with a Hybrid.
That’s why some manufacturers have
created Crossovers or Hybrid-Irons.
Mentally it is easier to think about,
and execute, a slightly descending
blow with this club.

If there’s an area of your approach shot game from the Fairway that punishes you too often,
there’s potential for scorecard improvement. Use the right fitted equipment with the right technique,
and you’ll be able to take the challenge on with a greater chance of success.
Spend 45 minutes with us. Let’s make a difference.

Got some friends who have just started to learn the game?
Give them a chance to have some fun out on the golf course.

You don’t have to tee off from the tee box – a hugely daunting and intimidating experience
for someone still struggling to get a full shot airborne consistently.
It will lead to a much longer round and not a lot of joy.
Why not play 9-holes with each hole starting at the 40 yard mark?

You don’t have to wait for us to create fun golf experiences.
You can create them yourselves as a four-ball, or a small group.
Respect everyone else, but enjoy your golf.

Try this with friends, if you’re a regular or even highly competitive golfer.
Come down after work, before work, whenever you have 2 hours.
Play a 9 hole 40 yard Championship. It’s a great game.

Anyone not shooting under 36?
Then it’s time to pay a visit and improve your short game.
