From the Founder’s Desk

I hope you are all enjoying your enforced time at home with a balance of productivity, relaxation and family time.

The BSI staff have been working hard to prepare for the start of cycle 2 next Tuesday, with 100% remote learning swinging into action to start the cycle off. It has been great to see the whole staff embrace the challenges head on, and adapt and grow to the current circumstances. To keep the students occupied during their current break, the coaching staff have already been providing home training plans and technical analysis.

I’ve also put together some ideas on productive training during this time. See my blog 8 things golfers can work on during lockdown further down the page.

Remote Coaching

Your journey to better golf is just a click away

Remote coaching is the order of the day at the moment, with the BSI coaching staff interacting with our students through a coaching app that we have used for many years called CoachNow. See below some examples of what we are doing.

Did you know that we offer ongoing remote coaching programmes for anyone, anywhere in the world using the same technology?

Mevo (out of box unit): R5,995
Mevo (Brand new): R8,000
Mevo+ : R34,500

There is a waiting list for the Mevo+ even after lockdown, due to high demand for this new on the market device. Costs exclude delivery. Contact me at michael@bsisports.com to order.

Student Spotlight

A whopping 8 stroke improvement for Bernard!

Check out the improvement that Junior Academy student, Bernard Meyer, has made in one year at BSI Golf, a whopping 8 strokes! Starting in January 2019 as a grade 10 learner, Bernard averaged 82.11 in his first 10-week cycle with us. Bernard is an extremely diligent and hard-working student, and this has paid dividends with a reduction in stroke average to 74.17 for the same period this year.

During this time, he has represented North-West Golf Union and was part of the 4-player BSI team that won the Pirie Cup. Great work Bernard.
