Golf is in the sweetest of sweet spots. It is potentially the future for everyone. The challenge and opportunity is ours.

So, I asked you to consider how extensive and powerful a network you could create in your country if each PGA Professional was connected to 500 golfers. Sure, that would be much smaller than Facebook or Twitter’s networks, but you would have one very large advantage.

Yours would be a PHYGITAL network. It would exist in the digital and the physical world. That means the results you could produce would be much more profound.

For instance, imagine if 10,000 US PGA Professionals each persuaded 24 golfers from their network to accompany them on a “City Golf Tuesday” where they supported a city course while playing in a national
competition. That would be a quarter of a million rounds of golf created for city courses on one day.
