We appreciate you, and everything you do

Talking to a Professional yesterday was an interesting experience.
“Ian, we’re just trying to survive here. It's almost impossible to keep up.”

I felt his pain. It was real. The use of the word ‘survive’ was interesting, of course. He meant trying to keep up with the operational requirements and pace was killing him. But, that’s in the context of a virus that is a threat to his health and well-being as well.

There is another meaning to ‘survival’ though. The golf club, or his business surviving financially.

The golf industry has lost many of the additional revenues (weddings and functions, etc.) that helped it to survive, and in some cases, to thrive.

I would really like the golf industry to appreciate the value sitting in golf coaches. If we could get the industry to recognize that, then we could have a focus on revenues as well. And that focus might just be what’s required to help a few jobs survive.
