The first Christmas season promotions from golf professionals have started to drop into my inbox. Congratulations to those of you who are clearly looking to extend the scope of the consumer’s purchases.
 
 
Giving up margin on products you don’t regularly sell through your shop is a great approach.
 
 
For those of you back in ‘lockdown’ again with no golf allowed; our hearts go out to you; this sort of high-value product that can be click and collect or click and pick-up later is an obvious choice for a promotion.
 
 
What high-value items that a golfer doesn’t often buy from you, which you might be able to “order in” for the golfer, can you add to a promotion?
