We’ve talked a lot about how we maintain the wave of golf participation generated by the experiences in 2020, but what about creating the next wave ourselves?

As you enter the new year, does your club, or do your coaches, or do you, create a plan for the number of new golfers you’ll introduce in the next year? If you do; then do you break that down into men, ladies, and juniors?

When you plan; do you set a target for the number of new golfers, and then build out the number of activities you will need to create a pipeline with sufficient numbers to reach those targets? Or do you know how many activities you’ll schedule and work to fill those; and hope those numbers can be converted to reach your target?

Or do you work without a target, and wait to see where the dice lands?
