There is very little chance that functions are coming back in a big way this year. Restaurants and bars will be under financial pressure. But the demand for golf is just going to get greater. Are we re-thinking our model?

If you work at a golf club as a PGA Professional, then almost certainly (in nearly all of the world) their function and food & beverage revenue lines will be under pressure.

You may be an independently employed Professional, but you’re on the team. What can you do to drive the golf revenue numbers: round or membership volume; round or membership price?

It may be that your thoughts and opinions haven’t been listened to in the past. Don’t get frustrated. They say: “it’s difficult to be a prophet in your own land”.

Find ways to influence your leadership. Ask your PGA for help. The PGA of Australia has kicked off a great initiative to help their Professionals
influence owners, boards, chairpersons, committees, and managers.

If we can help, please let us know. If anyone needs a short webinar to be conducted, we have sensational data that shows how PGA Professionals have made substantial financial impacts on golf revenues.
