There is very little chance that functions are coming back in a big way this year. Restaurants and bars will be under financial pressure. But the demand for golf is just going to get greater. Are we re-thinking our model?

Huge opportunity, but first another question:
The more our industry realizes the huge financial gains to be made by proactively managing ‘customer journeys’, vs managing transactions and commodities, the more there will be opportunity for PGA Professionals and golf coaches. More importantly the better off everyone will be – including the golfer and member.

So, I have two questions to add to yesterday’s query about lost tourism income. I had asked:
“what should the PGA Professional do, if the club are not talking about the revenue pressure of lost tourism income?”.

If they did speak to you or you proactively asked if you could help, how would you suggest that you could help? Do you have an answer?

If you’re not sure what that answer would be, what would you do about that? Who would you speak to? What can you do to prepare yourself?
