Dom Dastoli, a Pittsfield native originally, and a writer and producer and son of NENY PGA Lifetime Retired member Robert Dastoli, has combined his passions in this new Podcast about the late NENY PGA Professional, Tom Sullivan. Dom was working on a project about Tom Sullivan, a long-time, beloved club pro from Massachusetts who passed away on Oct. 7 2020. Dom’s project is a ten episode series on the life of Tom Sullivan. Tom’s death was untimely and tragic.First episode was released on October 14th.

The Annual NENY PGA - CNY PGA Challenge Cup Match was played this week on Wednesday, October 13th hosted in the CNY PGA Section at the Turning Stone Resort Facility. The annual match up has been modified over the years and is currently a 27-hole competition between the top players from each section. The formats of the 3 nine hole matches were 2-person Scramble, Alternate Shot and Fourball conducted in a Match Play format.
The CNY PGA Team walked off handily with the win with a final score of 22-14. The record stands with 12 wins for the NENY PGA, 9 for CNY PGA and 2 ties.

Golf & Wellness Week | Hosted At Congressional
Country Club, Oct. 14-18 | |
PGA REACH, the 501c3 charitable foundation of the PGA of America, will conduct the 2021 PGA HOPE National Golf & Wellness Week at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland, Oct. 14-18. Military veterans will receive advanced golf instruction and wellness training over four days. These veterans have all graduated from their local PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) program and were nominated by their respective sections.
Rhonda Liddell, US Navy is a PGA HOPE Northeastern New York participant attending these activities and taking part in this awesome opportunity. PGA HOPE is a national program that our own PGA REACH NENY offers at no cost to veterans to enhance their physical, mental , social and emotional well-being.

The NENY PGA Section has 4 section professionals competing in the 2021 Senior Professional Championship Presented by Cadillac and Supported by Golf Channel.
