Congratulations to Junior Academy student, Josh Karantonis on winning the White River Junior Open this weekend with a score of 74. Academy stablemate, Pieter-Andre vd Merwe also finished T5 in the event.

PGA Diploma Assessment Week

Loving and learning all things golf

Last week was mid-year assessment and exam week for our PGA Diploma students. Our 1st and 2nd-year students were busy with written exams, while our 3rd-year students had both written and practical assessments, as they need to show real-life competence to prepare for their future career paths. Below are images of the custom-fitting practical they had to complete, having been trained by Srixon’s Tour Custom-Fitter and BSI Graduate, Alfred Sutton.

We are excited to announce the initial dates for the 2021 BSI Srixon Junior Tour. This year will be the 8th year of our Junior Tour, having hosted our initial event in April 2014. The Junior Tour involves a series of events in selected provinces around South Africa.  

Thanks once again to Srixon Golf SA for their continued support this initiative, which ensures that event will have fantastic prizes. We are still waiting for dates for some of the events from the specific unions, but please save the confirmed dates from your area listed below.

Football Open Day
Find out everything you need to know

We are hosting an Open Day for our football programmes on Monday, the 9th of August at our new training facility in Modderfontein. Players will experience a training session with our professional coaching staff and receive a shirt. Parents will hear a presentation on our full-time programmes, namely our Youth Development Programme (U14-U19) and Elite Development Programme (U23).

The cost for the open day is R650 per player and booking is essential as space is limited.
