PGA.Coach & ADM - Do Your Part to Prevent Athlete Burnout
Kids are leaving sports, and more often than not, they're becoming hyper-specialized from a young age and burning out. Enter the American Development Model (ADM): developed by the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) and its National Governing Bodies, it's about introducing the right aspects of play in a structure that is fun, engaging, and progressively challenging.
PGA Jr. League Captains and Coaches: you can create well-rounded athletes that become golfers for life. Become ADM certified in 3 hours at your own pace and get access to the PGA Coach app with lesson plans for golfers of all skill levels and ages. It's not a program; it's a pathway to retaining golfers for life.

Saying Goodbye to Our Seasonal Staff
Like many of you, this week is the last week for our NENY PGA Section seasonal staff to be working with us. Big thanks to
Josh DeMattos, who helped us build some great content for our social media and marketing needs this summer across all our Section and foundation operations activities. To
Grace Kochan for her assistance in our Junior Golf Coordinator role, where she was vital in the daily Junior Tour Series Tournament Ops and our player development programs. Wishing them the best as they continue on their paths and head back to college: Josh will be entering his Junior year at
Emerson College in Boston and Sophomore year for Grace back to Stevenson University in Maryland.
