Creativity is a word we don’t easily associate with the profession of golf. But it’s a skill we need to appreciate if we want to grow the game.

This thread of Thoughtful mailers has been about the opportunity for creative solutions to deliver benefit to every part of the industry: the coach; retail; the club (rounds, spend, membership); the equipment vendors; etc etc.

The benefit PGAs and PGA Professionals have, is that it surely takes just one creative idea to be proved successful at one club; and then there’s the opportunity for thousands of other PGA Professionals to learn about it and deliver the benefit at their facility.

And then someone can build on that idea and make it even better and re-share. What a virtuous circle that is.

The potential creative power of PGA Professionals working together on solutions that provide more value to golfers, especially those that don’t play the game often or those who struggle to find value, is enormous.

Are we doing enough together?
