Influencing the industry to appreciate the power of engagement.

A Director of Golf told me that I had no idea what it was like dealing with the crowd wanting tee-times on Saturday he didn’t have.

I told him he was right, but I’d been that golfer unable to get a tee-time on a Saturday. I’d also been that golfer who did have a tee-time on Saturday.

I’d also been that golfer on a packed Saturday, listening to a committee member in my fourball wondering what value the Professional offered other than signing people in and collecting green fees.

That committee member perceived the Professional as a ‘servant’ to the crowd, and nothing more.

What does your Saturday crowd think your role is on the day:
• serving the crowd
• exploiting the crowd
• crowd control
• entertaining the crowd
• inspiring the crowd
• adding value to the crowd
• influencing the crowd
• surviving the crowd
