The 10-foot challenge is a great engagement event for the putting green on a busy Saturday or as part of a fun event to create a crowd on Friday evening.

If you watch each golfer take ten, 10-foot putts at the hole on a perfectly flat piece of putting green, then you’ll learn who has a problem that can be helped with an improved setup and posture; or improved with a better stroke; or who could use a new putter.

Even better, the golfer themselves will have benchmarked a skill. They’ll have gained an insight into their need for improvement.

The chance of making a successful proposition has just improved dramatically.     

And if you’d enquired about the golfer’s game; and how their putting impacted their enjoyment? And asked whether they’d like to improve their putting to improve their game, then the chance of knowing whether a proposition might succeed, has increased again.   

And, if you had a previous connection; you’d previously played 9 holes with the golfer; and they trusted you to care about their game and their connection to your community; then you’re close to a home run.

Customer knowledge, connection, and trust. The algorithm might be trying to build the first, but you’re the top cat of the rest.
