Are we under-achieving, if we measure the number of golfers who invest in coaching?

Hair stylists or colorists (hairdressers where I come from) know that their business absolutely depends on recommendations and word of mouth.

Increasingly, those working in that profession operate a basic word-of-mouth marketing strategy to increase the reach and volume of word of mouth.

The communication they publish, or have published, almost never mentions their years in the profession, or their qualifications, or ‘system’. It almost always focuses on the outcome for the consumer or the consumer’s review of the experience.

This is surely a great opportunity for golf coaches and fitters? Do you have a word-of-mouth marketing strategy?
