Attracting people and golfers to your brand, club, shop, or coaching tee, will become easier with the right words that match your goal to a need.

Educating the golfer isn’t a one-and-done job. Getting your key marketing messages across, requires a steady drip of content that repeats your message. If you're marketing yourself as the equipment expert, then you must continually educate your golfers that:

1. Each golfer is an individual. Different in dimension in so many different ways. Different in strength and speed. Different in mobility. Different in athletic and technical ability. Different in skill level.

2. Equipment technology has gone mad with so much innovation creating so many different options, each solving different problems. In fact, the #5 iron model of a single product line from any brand will likely have 1,000+ options. How on earth does the golfer find what’s right?        

3. How does a wrong option make the game more difficult? How does the perfect option make the game easier? Who wouldn’t want better and easier? How much is better worth?

4. The PGA Professional is the equivalent of a specialist doctor or a lawyer. Trained to be able to match a golf swing to the right choice of equipment with the right fitting. 

How many times have you published content in the last year that promotes these messages?


How many fitting stories have you told?
Remember each story should include the problem you were solving (what was the problem the golfer had with their game?); the solution (what was the specification you fitted?); and how that produced the better result.
