In the golf industry there is no more powerful influence in each local golf community than the PGA or LPGA Professional.

If I asked you to complete 4 swing assessments with 4 different golfers and at the end of each assessment clearly offer the golfer a ‘plan’ that requires them to purchase coaching from you; would you feel

a) You were offering a valuable opportunity?
b) You were acting like a pushy sales person?
c) You were over-stepping your boundary in the Professional-Golfer relationship?

What about if you offered three options? One was a traditional set of lessons. The second was a premium subscription program of accompanied play, one-on-one coaching, and supervised coaching. And lastly you offered your free advice on how much to practice and what to practice over the next 4 weeks, asking the golfer to make that commitment.

Would offering that third 'option' that required no investment, along with the two potential sale options, make you feel more like a guide to the golfer, and less like a sales person? Would you feel more comfortable?
