Let’s imagine you think the quickest way to remove their frustrations is to take between 5 and 7 shots off their scorecard by working on their short game.

You give the golfer two short-game practice drills and ask them to commit to 30 minutes of practice a week for the next 2 months. You also ask them to play at least 4 rounds, keep a short-game score and mail you both the total scorecard and the short-game score with any observations. You book to play another 9 holes with them and two of their friends in 75 days.

| The golfer enrolls into your 3-month “short-game master” program. At the end they’ll not only play all short-game shots without fear; they’ll up and down much more often. This is a group program with 3 other golfers made up of: 6 one-on-one lessons, 6 supervised group practice sessions (with games); 3 accompanied rounds with you and the 3 other golfers; and a final short-game handicap graduation event. |
You’ve now done your job as a “professional” – as the expert guide. You’ve set out three journeys the golfer can choose from.
