We have all experienced a boom over the last 18 months. We must all act together to preserve the new opportunity for the golf industry.

The National Golf Foundation (NGF) published research showing
that the highest conversion rate of new and returning golfers into
golfers who're going to stay with the game, was achieved if at least
one of the following actions occurred:

a) They had a relationship with one of the golf team
b) They joined an improvement program
c) They participated in a fun event like a scramble.

So, how often did that happen? Again, crediting the NGF research:

Someone from the club reached out to them and
managed their relationship.
This happened just
13% of the time.

They participated in a coaching program. This
happened just 13% of the time.

They participated in a fun event like a scramble.
This happened just 23% of the time.

The NGF is providing great research and great leadership. The data seems to warn us that the good times might just end soon if we don't do more.

How can you help with the actions above?
