We have all experienced a boom over the last 18 months. We must all act together to preserve the new opportunity for the golf industry.

The NGF highlighted how rarely golfers who’ve returned to, or taken up, the game have experienced one of the following:

Someone from the club reaching out to them to manage their relationship.

Participation in a coaching program.

Participation in a fun event like a scramble.

Research also shows just how powerful these actions are in converting the less committed golfers to being loyal to the game and club.

If coaching is one of those, then it must be in everyone’s interests to get as many of those golfers as possible into coaching.

We all have a common interest: retaining the demand. And we all benefit if more of those golfers invest in coaching. We’re aligned in objective.

Are we aligned in action?
