We have all experienced a boom over the last 18 months. We must all act together to preserve the new opportunity for the golf industry.

Is this all it takes to make sure we retain as much of the new demand for golf as possible?

This is easy, surely?

a) We need to get as many of our golfers into an improvement program as possible.

b) We need to connect golfers to the golf team and to each other, so they have stronger social connections.

c) We need to create events and activities that allow them to enjoy the playing experience.

It looks like the basis of a sensible job description for a PGA Professional.
