What more could we do in 2022 to increase equipment sales?

I observed a Callaway Super Hybrid demo day in action a while ago. I was really struck by the reaction of the 12 golfers who got to try out the new clubs.

How did we find the 12 who attended? Four were walk-ups on the day. The other 8 had responded to a ‘poster’ mailed out. The 8 were definitely interested. The 4 got a nice surprise. Two of them made a purchase.

Why couldn’t the experience of that improvement have been scheduled and designed in a way that 72 golfers got to be excited about their improvement? How many ‘leads’ for a fitting could that have created?

Just think: a busy Saturday, a tightish Par 4, a launch monitor, a selection of super hybrids, a professional, and a fun competition. How many conversations could that start?
