Looking back on 2021 and doing more of what worked in 2022.

In April 2021, 19 Professionals ran our ‘Revealing the Lie’ campaign. That included a ‘Reveal the Lie’ engagement event for 2 hours on a Saturday morning. Between those Professionals they sold 51 sets of irons from the engagements that day.


What can we learn from that success?

“If the consumer doesn’t know they have a problem, then they sure as hell don’t need your solution."

The ‘Reveal the Lie’ engagement identified for the golfer whether they had a problem. Was the lie angle of their #7 iron making their approach shots easier or more difficult?

That started a conversation about a better playing experience. The solution: a fitting with the Professional that in many cases resulted in irons being bent. In some cases, it resulted in a set of new irons.

No one was selling new irons. The expert was trying to help their golfers have a better playing experience. But it started by highlighting a problem the golfer had.
 
We create engagement events (documented in playbooks) that help to show the golfer that they either have a playing experience problem that can be resolved, or an opportunity they can embrace.
