Success is a journey Some of my favourite sayings about the process towards success. • The road to success is always under construction. • Success isn’t owned. It’s leased and the rent is due every day. • Failure is not the opposite of success. It’s part of success. I hope you’re having a great week. BSI Study Centre – Seven traits of high performing students In a system developed by our academic team, which promotes positive behaviours and habits, students are awarded academic “Character Points” for exhibiting any of the seven traits during the academic day. A total of seven points are available per day (i.e., one for each trait), which are then tallied up at the end of the week (Thursday). Those students with the top three highest points are celebrated as the week’s ‘Student Heroes’. At the end of the cycle, the highest cumulative points along with additional qualifying criteria will determine the students eligible for either a Silver, Gold or Platinum ‘Student of the Cycle’ award. At the end of the year, the academic Order of Merit will again recognise those top-achieving students, who have consistently displayed traits of a high-performer.
