BSI Premier 18-Hole Medal

Well done to Hilton Bailey for winning the BSI Premier 18-Hole Medal with a score of 4-under (68) on Friday 3 February 2023 played at Royal Johannesburg and Kensington GC West Course. This is Hilton’s second win and both times he has scored sub 70 rounds, which is really impressive and we hope we see him more regularly on the winner’s podium with more low rounds.

BSI Junior Academy 18-Hole Medal

Congratulations to Connor Olfsen, on winning the BSI Junior Academy 18-Hole Medal played at Royal Johannesburg and Kensington GC West Course on Friday, 3 February 2023. This is Connor’s second win for the year and it’s 2 out of 4, which pushes Connor to the top of our Junior Academy Order of Merit with 15 500.Order of Merit with 15 500 points. Connor has also shown some great form whilst representing BSI in the Gauteng High School’s Super League. Keep up the hardwork young man.

Sunshine Ladies Tour’s SuperSport Ladies Challenge – Gary Player GC., Sun City (1 – 3 Feb 2023)

Congratulations to BSI Mental client, Casandra Alexander in her emphatic win in the Sunshine Ladies Tour’s season-opener, of the SuperSport Ladies Challenge played on the Gary Player GC, Sun City from 1st to 3rd February 2023. Casandra went into the 3rd and final round with 4-shot lead and extended her winning score with an unassailable 6-shot victory. Well done.

Bushveld Tour Race to Q-School #3 – Modderfontein Golf Course (30 Jan to 1 Feb 2023)

Well done to BSI client, Jules Helary who finished tied-34th and final year PGA Diploma student, George Mawere who came in 47th at the Bushveld Tour Race to Q-School #3 played at the Modderfontein Golf Course from 30 January to 1 February 2023.

We would like to extend a warm welcome to Botswana National Team members Maru and Loapi Chokwe to our full-time Junior Academy. Last year the two sisters joined us for an intensive one-week training programme and from that moment, chose to further their golfing ambitions at our Academy.
