We are at a moment where the world is going to change forever. Our customer will change. Their challenges, opportunities, priorities, and outlook will change. The factors in what is most important to them will change. This is now your time. It is your opportunity.    
This is a ‘reset’ opportunity for you. I’ve asked you to create a video to send to your golfers explaining how you’re going to make the future better for them. This is an opportunity to start the process of building a larger network of influence over your local golfers. That will create a better future for you. 

Putting some effort into this exercise will help you improve your human skills. Consider this your practice tee. You’re working on your ability to think about the golfer as a human being and your ability to appeal to their human emotions.

So below is an example of the structure of a communication.

When we re-open I’m going to help more of you than ever experience the joy of human connections at our golf club.
By learning more about each of you, I can introduce you to people who will make your golf and club experience even better.
I’m going to reach out to all of you over the next months to play an accompanied 9-holes of golf with me.
This structure of communication shows that you care most about the experience improvement of the golfer and least about your
actual task.

Don’t you think that they’re much more likely to read, watch or listen to the whole communication because it’s structured to start with what is important to the golfer – your reader, viewer, or listener? Don’t you think they’re more likely to value your planned contribution?
