PGA Professionals are the most undervalued resource in the golf industry.

I read an interview with a PGA leader over the weekend. The “business of golf” was mentioned, as it often is. PGA Professionals are “experts in the business of golf”.

If you had to ask the CEO of BP or Shell or ExxonMobil what was “the business of Oil and Gas”, how would they describe that?

I suspect that “prospecting” and securing the Oil or Gas would be high on their priority list. Processing and converting the raw material into something that could then be used to create revenue would also be very high on their priority list.

The geologists who search for oil and natural gas fields, and the
scientists and engineers who help are critical to the ongoing success of these companies.

What’s the oil or gas in our business? What do we convert into revenue?
