We had another mixed weekend in that the course was open on Saturday, wet and windy to start with, but the conditions improved and a few people managed to get a game before the snow was back on Sunday. Of the few players on Saturday, one was Adrian O’Neill who won the Winter Sweep with 40 points – well done!
Although the weather has hampered play, the new stock for 2018 has started to arrive! leaves you with just your #7,
#8 and #9 Irons and Wedges. Remove the temptation.

If your #7 Iron is the longest club that you can use consistently, then set yourself a
target to improve your #6 Iron. You’re looking to get to the level where you never badly hook or
slice your shots and, on at least 85% of the time, you’re hitting it within 10 metres of your target distance.
