MV Golf & Events Center Joins NENY PGA Hope
Huge thanks to NENY PGA Head Professional Mark Lane at MV Golf & Events Center in Herkimer, NY, who is the latest section professional to join in and offer a NENY PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) program for local area veterans. Through funding from our PGA NENY Reach Foundation, Mark and volunteers can offer instructional golf programming to those who gave so much to all of us.

Do You Know A Junior Ready For Tourney Golf?
Don’t forget that the NENY PGA Junior Tour Series is kicking into gear next week! With the ending of the academic school year, our NENY PGA Junior Tour tournaments begin next week with our first Classic event hosted by Amsterdam Municipal GC and an excellent opportunity for local area juniors to play a slew of NENY PGA facilities this season. Some highlights to know below, and we’re ready to help answer any questions from parents/families. - Boys & Girls Age Divisions for 8-12; 13-15 and 16-18 - 9 hole events for ages 8-12-year-olds with modified rules and Stableford scoring - 18 and 36 hole events for our older 13-15 and 16-18 age divisions - 36 hole events are sanctioned for AJGA star level and Junior Scoreboard rankings - Tournament fees include range balls, greens fee, and lunch for the player - Join the NENY PGA Junior Golf Association annually and get member pricing for tournament fees and eligibility to earn player of the Year points!

NENY PGA Purse Payments & Workday
As our staff continues to become acclimated with the new PGA Financial system Workday, we continue to come across PGA Members and new Suppliers/Vendors who need to complete accounts and ACH payment setups to receive their proper payments.
Please be sure to reach out to Tracie at the office if you are still awaiting any payments so that we can investigate and correct any tasks to help complete those payments for you successfully.
PGA Dues Invoice Adjustment
A reminder that the PGA of America has completed PGA Dues billing, and all PGA Members & Associates have a dues balance. The balance shows an expiration of June 30th, BUT as has been shared previously, the dues date for this year has been extended to August 31st without suspension or late fees.
Those unable to pay the full dues by August 31st, 2021, would be dropped from active status and can still pay full dues by June 30th, 2022, to “re-establish” Membership (per the Bylaws), and the PGA of America will waive the late fee and establish fee.
If not able to re-establish by June 30th, 2022, individuals would need to reinstate their Membership. If the one-time reinstatement option has been previously used, approval has already been granted for a second reinstatement for those affected by COVID-19.
PGA Member Cards & Credentials
Credentials should be requested and should be mailed within 10-14 days after receipt of the dues payments. Spouse/partner cards will be included provided a spouse/partner name exists on your membership record. Likewise, a photo will be shown on your 2022 ID Card, provided an image exists prior to the date of requesting the credentials.
Seeking NENY Veteran-Friendly Golf Facilities
If your facility offers any types of golf discounts to veterans, we would LOVE to include and promote it in our NENY PGA HOPE graduation cards/announcements to our 3 local area PGA HOPE Chapters and graduating students.
