Clubhouse Fire At Christman's
The Town of Windham and its community shared a sad day due to an early morning fire that destroyed the clubhouse at Christman's Windham House Golf Course on Monday, Jul. 12th. The building housed the pro shop and a restaurant. No one was injured, but the 200+-year-old building is a complete loss.

Tournament Reminders
Pro Classic #4 Rescheduled - Mon, Sept. 14th
The Pro Classic Series #4 that had to be canceled due to rain/weather hosted by Waubeeka Golf Links has been rescheduled for Monday, Sept. 14th! A reminder that all registrants scheduled to play in the original event were canceled and refunded entry fees.
Players who wish to play need to register for the newly rescheduled event.

NENY PGA Senior PNC Qualifier - Wed, July 28th
Hosted by The Edison Club. PLEASE remember that ALL registrations must go through PGA of America online or call 800-474-2776!
36 Hole Stroke Play with starting times for round 1 beginning at 8 am and round 2 at approximately 1 pm.
This is the qualifier for the PGA Senior Professional National Championship held October 15th - 18th at the PGA Golf Club (Wanamaker and Ryder Courses) in Port St. Lucie, FL. The field will be playing for two (2) qualifying spots. The NENY PGA Senior Stroke Play Champion, if registered for the Sr. Professional Championship, will receive a qualifying spot automatically.

NENY PGA Junior Boys Represent
Big shoutouts to Trey Smith, Greenville, NY, and Clarkie Carroll, Wilton, NY, who were the two NENY PGA Junior Members representing the section and earned spots in the Boy's Junior PGA Championship that was contested this week at Kearney Hill Golf Links in Lexington, KY. One of golf's major junior championships returned this year as the 2020 Champ was canceled due to COVID.

Next up is the 2021 Girls Junior PGA Championship that will be played at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, KY, from July 27-30th with Kennedy Swedick (Altamont) and Nicole Criscone (Clifton Park) representing.

Don't let this slip by you! The annual dues invoice for the membership year ending Jun. 30th, 2022, has been created and is available to view, print, and or pay online!
The Board extended the deadline for Dues to Aug. 31st, 2021. Please contact Section Office staff if you have any questions on your dues balance and pay online at your PGA.org account!
