| BSI Premier 18-Hole Medal |
| Well done to Jonathan Williams for winning the BSI 18-Hole Premier Medal on Friday, 5 August at Royal Johannesburg and Kensington GC – East with a score of 73. Jonathan hasn't won a BSI Medal in quite a while, and it was great to see him on the winner's podium again. Keep it going Jono, we hope to see those winning ways continue. |
| BSI Junior Academy 18-Hole Medal |
Congratulations to Vuyisani Makama on his win on Friday, 5 August in the BSI Golf Junior Academy Medal with an incredible score of 6 under 66 at Huddle Park Golf Course. Vuyisani has been working really hard with his coach, Tyrone Gibb, and his dedication and commitment are definitely paying dividends. Well done Vuyisani and keep it going.

| BSI Srixon Junior Golf Tour – Ekurhuleni Golf Union |
| Congratulations to Marno Lange, who won the BSI Srixon Junior Golf Tour in conjunction with Ekurhuleni Golf Union, played at Glendower GC on Sunday, 7 August. He shot an even par 72 to take top honours. Well done to our own Lefa Maseng who took second place on the day for the Boys A Division. |

| Big shoutout to Connor Olfsen for winning the Boys B Division Best Gross and congratulations to Stacey-Lee van Gent who shot a nett 71 and took Best Nett for Girls U19. Stacey-Lee also won the Longest Drive for girls on the day. |

We would like to wish all our ladies a Happy Women's Day for Tuesday and we hope that the joy continues throughout the month and the rest of the year.
This week, our Women’s Month focus is shining the spotlight on Carmen Taljaard, a young lady who has truly embraced her love for the game of golf and is applying all the practical and theoretical knowledge that she gained during her three years at BSI, through studying the PGA Diploma, in her everyday life. We had the opportunity to catch up and interview Carmen, who graduated in 2019 and is now the Internal Sales Manager at Dunlop Srixon Golf. Carmen still has ambitions to return to the Sunshine Ladies Tour and continue her golfing passion. |

| Congratulations to BSI Football Academy goalkeeper, Andile Mantshiya, who has joined professional outfit, Sekukhune United FC. Andile over the last 18 months, has been under the guidance of our BSI Football Academy and the tutelage of the Shuaib Walters Goal Keeping Academy. She follows in the footsteps of two other great South African golfing legends to win at Muirfield, none other than Gary Player and Ernie Els. This is also the third Major win on the LPGA Tour for SRIXON in 2022. |
